After Hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast our crews were called upon to dredge 10 Marines along the New Jersey Shores, all within a 2-month time frame. Using both Hydraulic and Mechanical dredging means our crews were able to remove material from 7 marinas at the same time. The sediments collected were recycled as top cover for landfills, used as beach renourishment and placed in controlled disposal facilities (CDF). The dredging and disposal was completed on time per the government mandate.
